Back around the time I started this web site, I heard from a dancer by the name of Dana Parkinson down in St. Petersburg, FL. She has been dancing for about two years and learning to call for the better part of the last year. She’s also been bringing tastes of techno contra to Florida; the first was at the final Vernal’s weekend in April, and since then she’s been calling techno contras during the breaks of regular local contra dances.
