Techno contras are not the only fusion of traditional dancing and contemporary music out there. The British troupe which calls itself The Demon Barber Roadshow (and bills itself as "Maverick English Folk") combines morris, other folk dancing, and hip-hop for a new, contemporary form. The group has been around for about a decade from what I gather, but this is the promo video from their big show last fall: The band, called The Demon Barbers (same web site), has CDs out, which seem to perform a similar fusion of traditional English tunes and modernity.
